Fall of Berlin, Fall of Gaza

Good evening. Today is Friday, May 4 1945. Welcome to the news headlines.

We start in Berlin. Also today, Red Army continues the attacks against the centers of military resistance in the German capital. In these operations, Russian troops killed today at least 800 members of the wehrmacht and other militants in the streets of the city. In addition, however, at least 2,550 civilians were killed, of which over 650 children. Some of them had in the hands their favorite toys. Red Army has lost only 52 soldiers.

Humanitarian situation in Berlin is critical. Electricity does not work, there is no water, city residents have nothing to eat. The worldwide wave of the opposition to this aggression is growing. Against well-armed Russian divisions, there is only an uncoordinated German defense, whose members even doesn’t have enough arms. Military imbalance in the situation illustrates the fact that instead of a few hundred V-2 missiles, the millitants are only able to launch 40 missiles to London. But the russian army keeps firing without stop.

In many countries, rallies were held, calling for the end of the brutal attack of the Red Army and quick transition to the negotiating table. Many states, including the free part of France, are freeing resources for the provision of humanitarian aid for the attacked Germany. In the coming hours, we will send food, medicines and other necessary things in the value of five million dollars to the suffering german people. More aid will follow.

This is how up-to-date television news from the last days of World War II could look, if it is based on an equal basis as present news from the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
